Prof Dr Hoque new TIB Individual Member Representative

Prof Dr Engr AKM Fazlul Hoque, Registrar of Daffodil International University (DIU) has been elected as the Representative of Individual Members to the General Assembly (GA) of TIB for the next 2 years. He is also the elected President of Bangladesh Electronics Society for the year 2017-2018. Prof Fazlul Hoque joined as Professor in CSE Department of Faculty of Science and Information Technology on February 01, 2011 and took the responsibility of Registrar on November 01, 2013.
Before joining DIU, he served as Director, Atomic Energy Centre, Dhaka (AECD) and as Head of Accelerator Facilities Division of AECD. He had thirty-three years of research experience in Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission (BAEC). He served as `Philips Research Fellow' in the department of Applied Physics and Electronics of Dhaka University. He has been regularly supervising Ph. D, M. Phil, and M. Sc theses.  
He is an elected Central Council Member of IEB for the terms 2011- 2012 and 2013- 2014. He was the General Secretary of Bangladesh Electronics Society (BES) from 2000- 2016and Vice President of Bangladesh Physical Society (BPS) during 2010 and 2011.  He has been working as a Member of Asian Committee for Future Accelerator (ACFA) since 2004. He is the life Member of Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB).
