Businessman dies mysteriously

The body of a businessman was recovered from his flat at Muhuripara area under Halishahar thana in the port city Chittagong on Thursday night.
The victim was identified as Tarek Slam Bablu (46), son of industrialist M A Slam. The victim was also the cousin of the state minister for land Saifujjaman Chowdhury Javed.
Sources said businessman Tarek Slam Bablu was staying at his flat alone for last several days. But, he did not come out of his flat Tuesday and yesterday. Later, his neighbors called the police and the police team broke the lock of the flat and recovered the body of Tarek Slam Bablu from his bed. Police said there was no sign of any attack or force entry to the flat.
Primarily police suspected that victim Tarek Slam Bablu died of cardiac arrest. However, police sent the body to the morgue for autopsy. After getting the postmortem report, the cause of the death of Tarek Slam Bablu will be cleared, said the Halishahar thana police.
