Nasir earns second IM norm

FIDE Master Sheikh Nasir Ahmed of Bangladesh earned his second International Master (IM) norm in the 40th Open International Barbara Dell Villis Category A Chess Competition after he making a draw against IM Tlshir Mohammad of Morocco in the ninth and final round held in Barcelona, Spain on Wednesday.
Nasir secured seventh position bagging 6.5 points from nine matches. He now needs the third and final norm to become the country's fourth IM. The other International Masters of Bangladesh are:  Minhazuddin Ahmed Sagor, Abu Sufian Shakil and Zillur Rahman Chompak.
Nasir achieved his first IM norm in 2008.
