1st Inter-University Football Tournament begins today

The Walton 1st Inter-University Football Tournament begins today at the different venues of the city.
Prime Asia University will take on Stamford University at 9.00 am at Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium, while IUBAT University will face East West University at 10.30 am at the same venue.
IUB University will meet Bangladesh Textile University at 4.00 pm at the Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS).
President of Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Limited Safwan Sobhan Tanveer will inaugurate the football meet today at 3.30 pm at the BNS as the chief guest, while Managing Director of Ha-Meem Group AK Azad, Chairman of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited Md Touhidur Rahman, Chairman of Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Limited Manjoor Kader, Vice-Chancellor of Green University of Bangladesh Professor Dr Md Golam Samdani Fakir, Operative Director and Head of Sports & Welfare Department of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn, Chairman of ATN Bangla & ATN News Dr Mahfuzur Rahman, noted sports organizer Najib Ahmed will be present as special guests.
President of Sonali Otit Club Khurshid Alam Babul will preside over the inaugural ceremony.
Chairman of Inter-University Football Tournament Committee Md Shahid Ullah, Member Secretary of the Committee Sheikh Md Aslam will be present at the time.
