Khaleda urged to refrain from spreading falsehood
Treasury bench member and Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Hanif on Sunday called upon BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda to refrain from spreading falsehood and provocative statements against the government.

Referring to recent remark of Begum Zia on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's official visit to Sweden, Hanif said, "The Prime Minister went Sweden, one of our friendly European countries that first recognized Bangladesh as an Independent country, getting official invitation."
.About the government's initiative to overcome the post-landslide situation, he said the government alongwith all concerned stood by the side of the affected people. Besides, necessary assistances were provided to cyclone 'MORA' and flashflood affected people as per the directives of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
"The present government must take all necessary measures to face the pre and post disaster situation," Hanif added.
