Central Eid Jamaat Committee meet held

The annual general meeting, hamd-nath, azan competition of the central Eid jamaat committee, Chittagong held at Chittagong Circuit House auditorium on Thursday with Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong Md.Zillur Rahman in the chair. Secretary General of the committee Principal Dr.Abdul Karim conducted the whole meeting programs and other religious programs as moderator. Secretary General  Principal Dr. Abdul Karim delivered the address of welcome and placed the annual report of the EJC before the AGM .
The meeting decided to hold the central Eid jamaat at MA Aziz Stadium adjoining  ground on Eid day at 8.30 am  and  92 locally arranged Eid jamat will be held under committee.
Addl Deputy Commissioner (General) was present in the meeting as special guest. After meeting of the committee, sewing machine, clothes have been distributed among the poor . Cash and crest were  also distributed to the participants of the Ajan, Nath and Hamd competitors, sources said. Following the Eid jamat committee meeting, a grand Iftar Mahfil was also arranged at the same venue, sources said.
