Gulshan Youth earn 173-run win over Fear Fighters SC

Gulshan Youth Club earned a massive 173-run victory against Fear Fighters Sporting Club in the Dhaka Metropolis 2nd Division Cricket League at Mirpur City Club ground on Sunday.
Batting first after winning the toss, Gulshan Youth Club piled up a huge 356 run for 7 in reduced 45 overs with Imran Hossain contributing not out 77, Pratap Kumar 77, Ashish Kumar 70 and Mehedi Hasan 40 runs.
Sabbir Hossain grabbed two wickets for 68 runs.
In reply, Fear Fighters SC were all out for 183 runs in 43.3 overs with Shovon Das making 52, Sumon Kumar 46 and Apu Rahman 42 runs.
Maruf Ahmed claimed four wickets for 44 runs while Nazmul Hassan Ronny took two for 27 runs.
In the day's other league match, Dhaka Cricket Academy beat Dhaka Royal Cricketers by six wickets at Fatullah Outer Stadium.
Batting first, Dhaka Royal Cricketers were bundled out cheaply for 130 runs in 33.3 overs with Taj Sarker scoring 45, Ashraful Islam 25, and Nahid Hasan 17 runs.
Shakil made the major damage in Dhaka Royal innings claiming four wickets for 31 runs while Adnan Hossain and Rashed Ahmed took two wickets each conceding 27 and 31 runs respectively.
In reply, Dhaka Cricket Academy easily reached their ultimate goal scoring 132 runs for the loss of four wickets in 24 overs with Mishu Chandra making not out 44, Mahbub Alam not out 30 and Fahad Ahmed 20 runs.
Farid took two wickets for 49 runs.
