BD to participate in Gazprom's Football Friendship Programme

Bangladesh for the first time going to participate in the Gazprom's 5th Season of the Football for Friendship Programme which will be held from June 26 to July 3 in Russia, said a Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) press release.
The tournament will take place to promote the upcoming FIFA Confederations Cup Russia 2017.
Bangladesh is one of the 64 countries participating in the event.
Two U-12 players, one boy and one girl, will be chosen as both the ambassadors and players from Bangladesh in the Gazprom's, Football for Friendship, FIFA Confederations Cup Russia 2017.
On this occasion, BFF will host a trial programme starting from tomorrow (Sunday) in the BFF artificial turf at 2 pm for selecting the players for the international event.
Aspirants have to be born after 01-01-2005 and have to be fluent in English alongside being skillful in football.
The interested youngsters are also requested to bring their own football kits during the trial.
