Rural Games Competition marking Pohela Boishakh held

The Rural Games Competition marking the Pohela Boishakh were held at the Suhrawardy Udyan on Thursday.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Dr Biren Sikder inaugurated the Rural Games Competition as the chief guest on Thursday Noon.
Bangladesh Country Games Association arranged the Rural Games Competition. A total of 12 events were held marking the Pohela Boishakh. The notable events are: Ha-do-do, Dariabandha, Gollachut, Boichhee, Rope Jump, Cockfight.
Dhaka Commerce College, Quantum Foundation of Lama of Bandarban, Cosmo School, Cambrian College, Narayanganj College and many other schools and colleges took part in the Rural Games Competition.
Dhaka Commerce College and Quantum Foundation of Lama of Bandarban jointly emerged the champions.
After the competition, President of Bangladesh Country Games Association (BCGA) and noted television personality Shykh Seraj and General Secretary of BCGA Faiz Ahmed distributed the prizes among the winners.
