Campus Report :
The Student Affairs Office of the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) organized a seminar titled "Raise your Hands to end Sexual Harassment held on Tuesday at ULAB's Dhanmondi campus as a part of its semester-long campaign to raise awareness about sexual harassment.
Mrittika Kamal, a student of ULAB's Media Studies and Journalism Department, presented a short video which portrays the serious problem of sexual abuse in our society, and shared her views on how to create awareness and prevent such incidents.
Arzoo Ismail, Chairperson of the Sexual Harassment Complaints Committee and faculty of ULAB School of Business, engaged the students in an interactive session where specific case studies allowed them to identify and determine the nature and elements of sexual harassment.  She appreciated the display of courage shown by the students by speaking up about such a culturally sensitive issue, and stressed the importance of sex education from an early age.
The event ended with an informative and entertaining drama performance by Theatre ULAB.  Other events in the campaign include hand print petitioning, workshops, and photo exhibitions.
