SEBI, CUB arrange seminar on 'Career in Capital Market'

Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and Canadian University of Bangladesh have jointly arranged a seminar on 'Capital Market Related Issues and Career in Capital Market' on Sunday at the University Auditorium.
Sandip Ghose, Director, National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM), India, was the chief guest in the event. Prof Emeritus Dr AK Azad Chowdhury, Former Chairman, University Grants Commission of Bangladesh (UGC) and Honorary Advisor, Canadian University of Bangladesh was the Guest of Honor and Dr Chowdhury Nafeez Sarafat, Founder and Chairman, Canadian University of Bangladesh gave vote of thanks at the event.
Prof William H Derrenger, Vice Chancellor, Canadian University of Bangladesh inaugurated the program. Sahil Malik, DGM, Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and Jitendra Kumar, AGM, Securities and Exchange Board of India, (SEBI) were special guest. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Canadian University of Bangladesh and National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM), India.
The seminar was organized for the students of Canadian University of Bangladesh to learn about the Capital Market sector in Bangladesh and abroad, job prospects in this sector and how to face key challenges in this market.
Among others, Hanif Mahtab, Associate Professor, Business, Md. Latiful Khabir, Associate Professor, Business, Abdullah-Al-Monzur Hussain, Assistant Profesor and Coordinator, Law, Tusher Nabi Khan, Lecturer and Coordinator, Film and TV were also present in the program.
